Title: Some Peace
Characters: Link
Prompt: Yahtzee / picture of a little lake
Words: 173
:::
Link unsaddled Epona and let his eyes wander over the surroundings. The lake's water was deep blue, and the tiny waterfalls fell down in a soft murmur, spreading a fresh haze in the air. The wind was only a light breeze, barely enough to reach the leaves of the trees.
What a peaceful place. Peaceful enough to forget the evil going on in the world for some moments. But he was the knight of Hyrule, the last one standing between the future and the everlasting downfall. A short rest was all he could afford.
Some fresh water and grass for Epona. Later, he would spoil her with some apples he had found at the wayside earlier this morning. A quick meal for him, cooked on a campfire, which would hopefully keep him warm during the upcoming cold night. A nap for an hour or two; no deep sleep. The evil was waiting everywhere to attack him in a weak moment.
No, there was no peace for him, not before he had fulfilled his destiny.
